USS Supply

Four ships in the United States Navy have been named USS Supply.

The first ''Supply'' was purchased in 1846 and served in the Mexican-American War and the American Civil War.

The second ''Supply'' was schooner-rigged iron steamer built in 1873, purchased by the Navy in 1898 and served until 1919.

The third ''Supply'' (IX-147) was built in 1921, acquired by the Navy in 1944 and decommissioned in 1946.

The fourth USNS ''Supply'' (T-AOE-6) was commissioned in 1994 and decommissioned in 2001. She was the lead ship of her class of fast combat support ships and operated by the Military Sealift Command.
